Think of this book as a workshop. Visualise yourself within the story and you will be able to obtain a whole lot more from it. The Holy Bible was written to help you handle all of the challenges and situations in life. Hence, submit all of your problems through this personal invitation from our Lord.
At the core of it, Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). We live specifically and not generally. You are cordially invited to honestly face your specific sufferings.
James said that you will “…face trials of many kinds…” (James 1:2). This is where the Lord will encourage perseverance and deepen your faith. Through suffering you will realise how scarce your wisdom is. Hence, pray for wisdom and God will provide you with what you need.
Peter mentioned that you will may “…you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials” (1 Peter 1:6). However, in Christ you have been given something that is indestructible. God has promised to protect you with His power and sanctify your faith through such trials.
Suffering on its own is not good, but God only works out the best, removing ignorance and the hardness of heart. Faithful perseverance and clinging on to the Lord is one of the fruit of the Spirit. You will only bear such fruit when you have undergone difficult and challenging situations.
