This compilation work was birthed out of recognition of a need to ease communication of God’s Word  in Bahasa Malaysia (BM), especially for a generation of Christians who grew up trained in using  English and Mandarin as the main almost exclusive form of expression.  For the Bahasa-speaking Christians, they are more familiar with the terms in Indonesian.

Wawasan Penabur therefore see the need to standardised some terms in Bahasa Malaysia, especially for those involved in the translation work.
